"This is it"

Before the captains of the enforcement unit, a large expanse of spikey vines and stems could be seen spread out like a sea, stretching slowly into the trees in the surrounding area.

"Unnatural growth are all too common in this area huh?" Leon squated down looking at the sight before him.

To the others, he was referring to the Trafalgar forest. But what leon was talking about was finor world. Maybe it was because he was born in another world, the strange terrains in this world just didn’t sit well with him.

"I know right, but this is the best situation" Victoria smiled.

It was incredibly hard to find jade tipped stems on a normal day, it was something one could only happen on. Only in a place like Trafalgar forest could one find them growing naturally at such place.

"We still have to find them though, you all have 30 minutes then we meet back here" Victoria explained to the rest..

There was still the consideration of time, they needed to rush out of here as fast as possible otherwise they might find themselves in the middle of a massive battle.

And so they spread out in different directions in search of the jade tipped stems.

"Are they still watching us?" A few hundred meters away from the sea of vines, Leon could be seen squatting behind a tree.@@@@

(No, how did you lose them?)

Levis voice sounded in his head.

One minute they were facing them, the next Leon was able to maneuver over them and lose their prying eye.

"Not for long" Leon smirked, what he did was cut himself off from all the energies in his body and use the dark shadows of the vines to slip away.

However, it was only a temporary fix, sooner or later they would find him.

With excitement, levi screamed in glee. He noticed the prying eyes monitoring them, but no just that. There was also something in the distance calling to him.

It gave him the feeling that, if he were reach it. He would immediately ascend to a higher form. It was an iching feeling, the sort an addict would get when their supply runs out..

Whatever it was that was barreling towards him just now had just appeared beside him in the blink of an eye.

"What..." Leon looked with the side of his eyes. There, a goats eyes met with his in close proximity.

"Don’t even think about it!!!" What followed was a massive scream followed by an explosion.

—Boom!!!

With just his scream, Leon was thrown backwards by several hundred feet. The strength of this little creature was enormous.

"Huuuu" hurriedly looking up mid flight, Leon was able to rearrange himself and maintain his gaze on the creature.

In the split second where it appeared next to Leon, it had made a crucial mistake and levi tried to bank on that.

Unfortunately, the goat creature was just too powerful. With just its shout, it was able to send Leon flying, and capture levi in the same instant.

(Let me go!!!)

Levi screamed in panic. He didn’t even know when he was caught and by which energy.

"Shiii little one" with the most smug smile, the goat creature looked at levi with intrigue.

He didn’t know what kind of serpent this was. This was saying alot, Trafalgar forest was one of the most powerful entities in the area and there was no creature he hadn’t seen in its boarders.

(You’re hurting me!!!!!)

Levi didn’t let up though, he kept on struggling. But his struggle could only be viewed as a joke to the creature infront of him.

It was like a baby trying to pull itself from an adult.

"Hm?" But as he looked on in amusement, a chill suddenly went down its spine.

"You want to kill me kid?" The goat creature looked at Leon and smirked.

Leon was radiating a very dangerous energy right now, it felt like he was about to put his life on the line...

The worst case scenario had happened, They were caught by a powerful being. The only chance of survival was the spirit of Carnage.
