After all, the oath he made at the beginning was that the hell will not be empty, and he will not become a Buddha, and he did not say that the soul of the dead will not enter Samsara, and he will not become a Buddha, but Kṣitigarbha has become a ghost Buddha after all, even if he feels guilty.

He didn't dare to show his timidity in front of hundreds of thousands of believers. These believers had been won over by him after a lot of effort these days, and they were completely different from those monsters, bodhisattvas and devil Arhats who could be recruited casually.

Seeing that these believers became more and more devout in his belief, and it was almost time to kill the harvest believers and devour their souls, Ao Sheng and Yang Jian suddenly came out to intervene, making Kṣitigarbha quite uncomfortable.

Even though he has become a demon Buddha now, what he practices is still Mahayana Buddhism. For believers, it is indeed an alternative way of practicing longevity. The way of ghost Buddha created by Kṣitigarbha is a complete way of eating people.

It is completely different from practicing one's own body in Hinayana Buddhism and relying on other people's beliefs in Mahayana Buddhism. .
