Chapter 1018 - 971: Hijacking a Foreign Pretty Boy’s Sports Car

The next day, Sienna Johnson stretched lazily and got out of bed.

Adrian Desmond wasn’t in the tent, and Sienna fell asleep as soon as she laid down last night. She didn’t know if Adrian came back to sleep.

After resting for a night, she felt revitalized.

"Adrian?"

Sienna stepped out of the tent.

After the rain, the air was fresher, and everything was lush green. If she could ignore her current situation, it was actually quite beautiful.

"You’re in a good mood today?" Adrian asked.

"The scenery is so beautiful; I don’t want my bad mood to ruin it."

Adrian looked at her tenderly, pulled her into his arms, and gave her a long kiss. Sienna dodged, and he chased her for another kiss, finally letting go after a while.

"Adrian, you didn’t brush your teeth!"

"Neither did you. I’m not complaining about you, so why are you complaining about me?"

"You’re just being disgusting!"

"Fine, then let’s continue!"

Sienna dodged and pleaded, "I give up!"

Sienna stood by the roadside, hands behind her back, looking into the distance, completely devoid of yesterday’s negativity.

The more time spent with Sienna, the more one is drawn to her character. She is a strong-willed woman who can face challenges head-on, is smart, cunning, knows how to make choices, and can live well.

"Adrian, I analyzed the situation. We failed to get a ride yesterday probably because you looked too intimidating.

So, today we need a strategy change.

You hide, and I’ll try to stop a car on the roadside alone. When the car stops, you sneak in when the driver isn’t paying attention. After you get in the car, I’ll get in... Your strength should be able to handle the driver, right?"

"Stopping cars in a swimsuit is not allowed!" This was Adrian’s bottom line!

"Can you not be so stubborn?"

"Fine, at least I can wear this to stop the car, right?"

Adrian glanced at her, she was wearing a long skirt and a shirt buttoned up to the very last button, covering her beautiful neck.

After the discussion, they started having breakfast.

There were only a few pieces of bread left in the bag. Sienna didn’t want to eat it at all, but still forced herself to eat a piece.

"Why aren’t you eating?"

"Saving it for you."

"This bread tastes terrible, don’t save it for me." Sienna tore open a bread’s packaging and handed it to Adrian.

"Eat!" Sienna commanded.

Adrian glanced at Sienna and, under her pressuring gaze, finished a piece of bread in a few bites.

After breakfast, they hit the road again.

They walked along the main road to increase their chances of encountering a car.

Having rested, Sienna was in a good mood, entirely free from yesterday’s dejection. She hummed songs, occasionally picked wildflowers by the roadside, and sometimes glanced back to give Adrian a slight smile, which also lifted his spirits.

"Adrian, will you sing for me?"

"No!"

"Then I’ll sing for you."

Sienna sang an old song, "Grandma’s Penghu Bay."

"The evening breeze gently brushes Penghu Bay

White waves chase the sand beach

No coconut groves embellish the setting sun

Just a blue, boundless sea

Sitting on the low wall by the door

Pondering repeatedly

On that sandy beach at dusk..."

Adrian slowly walked behind Sienna, listening to her singing, and felt his mood improve.

"Does it sound good?"

"Yes."

Sienna pursed her lips, "Will it kill you to compliment me?"

"Then I won’t sing anymore." Sienna had just regained her energy and didn’t want Adrian to drain it away.

"A car is coming." Adrian, with sharp hearing, heard the engine’s roar.

"Where, where?" Sienna looked back but didn’t see a car.

"It’ll be here soon."

"Then you quickly hide."

"Be careful."

Sienna waved her hand, urging, "Hurry up and go, this time I must stop a car."

Adrian looked around, and without a big tree, he squatted down in the roadside bushes, like a hunting leopard, concealing himself.

Sure enough, a red sports car came roaring by.

Sienna quickly took off her shirt, revealing the enticing swimsuit underneath, gave her most radiant and charming smile, and tried to hitchhike.
