Chapter 655: Three More Metacs.

The Divine Metacs that he got from the three divine beings that he killed were the Pill Cauldron Metac, the Thousand Cuts Metac, and the Liar Metacs. As for their Cave Heavens, the three of them gave him a combined increase of 90 million square kilometers.

Unfortunately for him, all good things have to come to an end. News spread of his killing spree, so divine beings stopped coming to the second heaven to harvest spirit creatures.

In a short amount of time, four divine beings of the Money Pathway, one divine being of the Refinement Pathway, one divine being of the Killing Pathway, and another divine being of the Deceiver Pathway had died.

It was rare for a single divine being out of the more than 150 divine beings of the Blessed Heaven World to die in a time span of ten years. Yet, seven divine beings had died in one year. So this phenomenon drew a lot of attention from other divine beings.

After they investigated, they discovered that the death of the three money cultivators was related to the new Monarch Gold Body. They weren’t sure if the new Gold Body had killed them because the event had happened outside of the Blessed Heaven World, and no one had told them what had happened.

The first thing that they could be sure about was that those three money cultivators had chased after the new Gold Body. The second thing that we were sure about was that those three money cultivators had died in the pursuit, while the new Gold Body Metac survived.

The other thing that they were certain of was that the death of the old Monarch Gold Body was also related to the new Gold Body, while the death of the four remaining divine beings was directly caused by the new Gold Body.

With the new Gold Body being directly responsible for the death of five divine beings and partially responsible for the death of three other money cultivators, the new Gold Body became a fearsome figure that must be avoided.

Not every divine being was afraid of the new Gold Body, though. Only the rank 6 divine beings who were not confident in surviving an encounter with him were afraid of him.

The strong rank 7 and rank 8 divine beings were not scared of him. But even these proud divine beings that were confident in their strength were wary of the new Gold Body simply for the fact that the Thorn House of Commerce appeared to have suffered a loss at his hands.

With the example of the Thorn House of Commerce and the three divine beings who died directly to the new Gold Body, most divine beings decided not to tempt fate by going to the second heaven.

Even the self-proclaimed talented swordsman decided not to visit the second heaven to see the creature that was creating trails of emptiness in the second heaven. So two years and two months came and went, but Loki didn’t get to meet with the rank 6 swordsman.

When this happened, Loki sneered and said, "It has been over two years now, yet they haven’t found me. So they were all bark and no bite."

His voice was full of disdain as he said, "I made it so easy for them to find me, yet they didn’t bite. I can’t believe that I wasted this opportunity on them."

He could have changed his appearance and hunted the four divine beings with a different identity and different Divine Metacs. That way, no one would have known that it was Gold Body who was killing so many people.

But he had gone to great lengths to make sure everyone knew that it was he who was hunting divine beings. This was to expose his location and make it easy for the members of the Thorn House of Commerce to find him.

He had done his part with uttermost sincerity, but his effort was not appreciated by the Thorn House of Commerce, and it went to waste. This made him feel disdainful of Forced Exchange and all the false bravado that was shown when Forced Exchange threatened to kill him after a year.

After insulting the Thorn House of Commerce, he said, "I was hoping to fleece them again when they attack me and break their contract. It seems I would have to find someone else to fleece."

As he said this, he connected to the divine constellation to check for information on his next target.

Since he didn’t have anything to do, he decided to spend some time looking for a way to find small worlds. He wanted to switch to hunting worlds since divine beings have decided not to make themselves available as prey.

His ideal solution was to find a seer that was good at finding worlds and kill them before taking their Divine Metac. Unfortunately, that wasn’t possible anymore, now that divine beings were avoiding the second heaven like the plague.

There was also the fact that divine beings with the Divine Metacs he needed could sense him from afar and run away before he could reach them. So he had to use the second-best option.

The second-best option was to use the divine constellation for information about the location of small worlds. This method indeed brought up a lot of information.

Unfortunately, most of the information that he found was related to rank 5 cultivators and their quest to find small worlds to use to become divine beings. Most of the information was old, too. The rank 5 cultivators involved in the matter were long dead.

He was sure that the information would be useless, since every divine being had access to it. But he still went about checking and verifying the validity of the information.

He went in search of the rank 5 cultivators based on the information that he saw. When he found them, he converted them into puppets and made them help him find the small worlds.
